Lacie M. Bogen, PhD
As a researcher and educator trained in the behavioral and social sciences, Lacie joined the Greaux Healthy team in January 2023, bringing with her a comprehensive skillset that includes grant writing, data analysis, experience with multiple research methods, and pedagogical development. Her dissertation focused on social networks, social support, and health, topics that remain relevant to her ongoing interests in social structure and well-being, especially for our public service initiative.
While Lacie’s career trajectory hasn’t followed the traditional path, her decision to pause for roughly a decade to focus on her role as a caretaker within the sandwich generation provided her with invaluable experience. A recurrent theme from that time that continues to inform her current work is making sure to ‘meet people where they are,’ which aligns with our approaches for health equity.
As a first-generation college graduate, born and raised in the river parishes of south Louisiana, she understands that context and culture matter – especially for health and wellness.
In addition to being a wife and mother of three, Lacie also holds an adjunct teaching appointment at Tulane University's School of Professional Advancement (SoPA).
