Darla Scardina

Ms. Scardina comes to us with a Bachelors in Health Education and Promotion from Southeastern Louisiana University, and 5 years working in public health at Louisiana Dept. Of Health. During her time at Louisiana Dept. Of Health, Darla worked heavily with developing and implementing evidenced-based chronic disease prevention and management initiatives to help communities thrive across our state. She is a highly skilled project manager with strong attention to detail.

She has a passion for building partnerships and sustainable programming that allows Louisiana residents to live well while maintaining our culture and way of life. In her personal life, Darla enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and being outdoors. Darla is excited to join our team so she can continue to make an impact in chronic disease prevalence in Louisiana’s youth.
